The Church of the River has applied for certification as a Green Sanctuary, a yearlong process of improving our understanding of and relationship with our Earth and our local environment.

This CORnergreen wiki (the COR is for Church Of the River) has begun as a resource for members to share and coordinate our plans and opportunities.

"Wiki" is a new communication tool. Everyone has access to the latest information and the ability to be aware of how we can improve our "right relationships" with our green world.

If any other faith communities want our help or can help us, please contact billlanders@netscape.net.

I'm researching rain water collection barrels. You can read about them at this web site: http://www.composters.com/rain-barrels.php
We could use two or three; one at the Oasis, one for our tomatoes, and one for the Memorial Garden if our hoses don't reach that far. Thoughts, everyone?
